The effects of transdermal permeation enhancers on thermotropic phase behaviour of a stratum corneum lipid model

Abstract

This study evaluates the interactions of a model stratum corneum lipid system based on ceramide AP with three selected permeation enhancers including urea, oleic acid, and N-lauroylglycine lauryl ester using temperature-dependent small-angle X-ray diffraction measurements.
