Specific adsorption of some complement activation proteins to polysulfone dialysis membranes during hemodialysis

Abstrakt

Proteins adsorbed to a polysulphone dialyser were investigated in patients receiving regular heparine hemodialysis. Among proteins most concentrated in dialyser eluates, several are involved in lectin pathway of complement activation, namely ficoli-2, MASP-1 and 2.
