Is congenital hypothyroidism always lifelong disease?

Abstract

Transient form of primary congenital hypothyroidism rarely occurs in children of mothers with autoimmune thyroiditis with inhibitory anti TSH antibodies. Children must be treated by levothyroxin till degradation of anti TSH antibodies.
