Complex therapy of hydrocephalus of infants

Abstract

Hydrocephalus in infants rises most often from intraventricular hemorrhage. In diagnosis we prefer ultrasound, it is also the best screening technique.

Surgical treatment starts with implantation of subcutaneous reservoir. After that follows shunt surgery.
