Cell-free plasma DNA during peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis and in patients with chronic kidney disease

Abstract

The plasma cfDNA concentrations are not dramatically changed neither in patients with CKD nor in patients on peritoneal dialysis or during the interdialytic interval in hemodialysed patients. Renal elimination is not the main mechanism of cfDNA clearance.
