Tissue levels of interleukins 6, 8 and of tumor necrosis factor alpha in the wall of ruptured and asymptomatic abdominal aortic aneurysms

Abstract

Inflammation of abdominal aortic aneurysm plays an important role in the ethiopathogenesis of AAA. The significant inflammatory changes were found in the walls of the ruptured aneurysms with increased levels of IL 6, IL 8 and TNF alfa.
