Abstract
This chapter deals with unconventional reading Plato's dialogue Phaedrus. Emphasis is placed mainly on the philosophy of Gilles Deleuze and Jorge Luis Borges, but also some contemporary authors dealing with the theme of sophistry (Bradford Vivian, John Sallis).
