Chapter 10. Correlating Micro-CT Imaging with Quantitative Histology

Abstrakt

The chapter reviews the current approaches in micro-CT imaging and the quantitative evaluation of the resulting image data. Both automatic image processing methods and stereological methods were applied in micro-CT imaging of bone-scaffolds and microvascular corrosion casts.
