Irinotecan induces senescence and apoptosis in colonic cells in vitro

Abstrakt

The aim of this work was to study effects of irinotecan on normal colonic cells. It was discovered that in normal colonic fibroblasts irinotecan induces apoptosis whereas in normal colonic fibroblasts the premature type of response is premature senescence.
