Imagination - The Philosophical Foundation of Survey Analysis

Abstrakt

In the chapter, imagination is discussed as a philosophical foundation of modern research method, particularly of survey research. Through method, imagination is controlled, exercised to prevent errors, speculations and arbitrariness.

Two recent approaches to early modern thinking of René Descartes are considered in this context.
