Abstract
The chapter in teh book about European contexts in Czech culture discusses European dimensions of the music group Plastic people of the Universe - as part of a net of Turner's communitas, and - through their texts - part of European surrealism and christianity. The third net represent productions of Stoppard's play Rock'n'Roll.
