Abstract
The book provides a comprehensive introduction to modern concept of human resource management that applies to management and leadership in schools and school facilities. It allows current and future managers of schools and school facilities to learn fundmental principles and practices in human resource management, including employee planning, recruitment, selection and orientation, performance management and appraisal, employee compensation, employee training and development or employee care.
The book presents good practices in human resource management and introduces important provisions of related legislation, mainly refers to relevant provisions of Act, No. 262/2006 Coll., the Labour Code, as amended (including changes effective from June 30, 2012).
