This paper deals with the issue of spatial visualization and its application in education. It focuses on the correlation between the efficiency of the application of spatial visualization in education and students' spatial intelligence.
It provides basic information on the goals, concept and outcomes of the experiment in educational settings, the aim of which was to find out the impact of the application of spatial visualization on the learning of lower-secondary school students with respect to their level of spatial intelligence. This was measured on the basis of their mental rotation ability.
The presumption was that spatial intelligence influences students' learning and that the application of spatial visualization will lead to better results in the education of students with a lower spatial intelligence level.
