Abstract
The article concerns with the process of establishment and beginning of the early modern era hospital in Kuks. It summarizes circumstances of its foundation by Count Franz Anton von Sporck and eventual putting into operation in 1744 under administration of the order of the Brothers Hospitallers of St.
John of God.
