Publication at Faculty of Science |
2012

Abstract

The chapter introduces the concept of the place rhythm to urban geography. It focuses on the daily rhythm (rhythmic changes during the day) and empirically assesses this phenomenon on the example of three localities in the center of Prague.

It contributes to the understanding of urban areas as constantly changing and highlights the importance of studying urban daily users in addition to residents.
