Abstract
This chapter maps the distribution of crime in the capital city of Prague and evaluates how the inhabitants of different residential neighbourhoods perceive safety and crime in their home area. The research is based on a combination of statistical data in detail of police districts of Prague and the survey realized in seven selected districts of Prague representing tenement, villa and housing estate construction.
