Abstract
Prague and its surroundings serves as an example for explaining general phenomena and processes as the function of urban greenery and public spaces, changes in a functional use of the territory, impact of changes in the age structure on the given territory, the process of suburbanisation and others. Individual themes are supplemented with topics for education, through which a number of geographical skills are practised.
