Abstract
The aim is to assess the development of hospital payment mechanisms in the Czech Republic in the framework of the implemented reform changes. Attention is devoted to the context of neoliberal hjealth care reforms, the relationship between market orientation, organizational changes and corresponding formation of hospital care payment - DRG (diagnosis related groups).
The process of allocation of financial resources in different types of hospitals is evaluated using statistical data of the Czech Republic Institute of Health Information and statistics and WHO health data in the period 2000-2010 in relation to the activities and management of hospitals.
