Abstract
Chapter focuses on the changes in six types of Prague's neighbourhoods. Degree of mutual help, character of social norms and social contacts are different in various types of residential environment.
Some results seems to oppose stereotypical image of social cohesion at housing estates and inner city neighbourhoods. Author shows, that major factor influencing place of residence is residential stability/fluctuation.
