Mapping and typology of unused lands in the territory of the town Kutná Hora (Czech Republic)

Abstract

The paper brings information about the research of abandoned and unused lands on the territory of the town Kutná Hora of the total area more than 33 sq. km. All unused lands were mapped in the field with help of aerial photographs, classified and divided according to their origin, age and the stage of overgrowing by shrubs and woods.

Unused lands cover more than 17 % of the territory under investigation.
