Nanotechnology and nanoscience play an important role in science as well as in real life. Therefore, educational materials concerning the so-called nanoworld are needed to implement some "nano" basics into secondary school science education.
As the nanoworld is really small and quite abstract, it could be difficult for secondary school students to imagine and understand it. Therefore, five interdisciplinary demonstrations were designed that can facilitate teaching and learning about the nanoworld.
Furthermore, an orientation survey was realized. This survey was aimed at the demonstrations presented to chemistry teachers and their students in Prague.
