Changes of Land Use Structure in Czechia: From Local Patterns to a More Complex Regional Organization

Abstrakt
The article describes long-term land use changes in Czechia in the period 1845-2000. Data and methods of lland use development evaluation are introduced.
As regards to land use patterns and their development 10 types of landscape use in Czechia has been identified on a regional level (typological regions) that are characterized by similar features.
