Nuclear Energy Law (Legal Framework for Peaceful Use of Nuclear Energy in Historical Consequences)

Abstract

Book presents a special area of nuclear law. It deals with historical consequences of developments in this area and points out major types of legal sources (international law, national acts, non-binding recommendations, technical standards, Codes of Conduct etc.).

In the 2nd part, it deals with main international organisations in this field (IAEA, OECD, ICRU etc.). 3rd part is dedicated to the European Atomic Energy Community (Euratom). In the 4th part, author deals with the existing Czech legal framework.

Further, attention is paid to specific legal issues arising from the security of nuclear installations, nuclear third party liability and radioactive waste management.
