Abstract

Tušimice station was established on April 1st 1967 and it is situated in the Ohře river catchement (13o 19' 41'' E, 50o 22' 36'' N; 322 m above sea level). The station has been automated on November 30th 2001.

Average monthly air temperature, average monthly minimum and maximum air temperature, absolute minimum and maximum daily air temperature, average daily air temperature amplitude, average monthly precipitation total and maximum daily precipitation total were chosen as a climatological characteristics. Data were processed in MS Excel and Geographic Information System within the period 1968-2011.

Long-term average (1971-2010) was processed according to the WMO methodology. Box plot and climagram (Kožnarová, Klabzuba, Bureš, 1997) were used for the intergrated graphic design with different statistical variables.

The average annual air temperature (period 1968-2011) is 8.6 oC, the average annual precipitation total is 430.5 mm. The absolute maximum temperature within the processed period is 37.9 o C (13th August 2003), the absolute minimum air temperature is -23.9 o C (9th January 1985).

The daily maximum precipitation total was measured on 2nd August 1970 (91.7 mm).
