The skates measuring force transfer from surface to boot and foot during skating

Publication

Abstract

In biomechanical measurements is the normal measurement of the transmission of forces directly between foot and shoe movie, when it was in the model no UPV 22051 described a technique to measure the transfer of forces from the bedrock on the shoe. In this technical solution, however, is not resolved the issue of the transmission of forces from skating boots alone on foot.

The transfer of forces from the shoes on the foot can be addressed by using the detection type "Footscan insole inserts" or "Pedar inserts". These insoles are able to detect the forces between the shoe and feet flat movie, but it is not finished the transmission of forces between the movie and the ankle boot.

At the same time it is not possible to compare the force acting on the beam knives, i.e. between the skates and by the forces acting between the skates and foot. The disadvantages in the measurement of the transmission of forces from the bedrock on the shoe Skate skates this addresses the technical solution with applied strain gauges and resistance rubber with lining.

Where is the lining of the electric resistance of rubber used for the most important focal points of contact skating boots and feet.
