Abstract
Early childhood caries is the serious dental problem in small children due to its rapid progression and complicated treatment. Multiple extractions of deciduous teeth are often the only choice of treatment.
Prevention of dental caries in early childhood is based on regular tooth brushing, dietary counselling and prevention of the transmission of cariogenic bacteria to the mouth of the child.
