Abstract

Traumatic stomatitis is the mucous lesion caused by parafunction or as a complication after local anaesthesia or mandibular block anaesthesia. The real origin is often psychologically based, so detailed patient history and examination is recommended.

Impetiginization of the lesion may complicate the healing.
