Abstract
The Annual volume 18/2005 of the ANAS journal, published annually by the National Museum of Roman Art in Mérida, is monothematicaly focused on the study of the Roman road system that formed the communication network between the northern and southern regions of the western part of the Iberian Peninsula (axis Augusta Emerita - Salmantica - Asturica Augusta), known as "La via de la Plata".
