Hic sunt leones : Yaakov Shabtai and his Place in Modern Hebrew Fiction

Abstrakt

The article presents Israeli writer Yaakov Shabtai (1934-1981) and his importance for the development of the modern Israeli literature and Hebrew language. In the second part, the article brings an excerpt of his novel Zichron Dvarim (Protocol) in Czech translation.
