Abstract
In this paper are summarized Czech vernacular names of native and some introduced species of the ichtyofauna (lampres and fishes) documented within the Czech Republic territory. Each species account begins with the scientific name, author of that scientific name, valid Czech name and Czech vernacular synonyms.
Etymological notes are mentioned in some species.
