The history of the Church in Czechoslovakia (1918-1992) may well clarify the phenomenon of collapse, which may well apply to the company in its breadth and complexity. At the time of the rise of the Czechoslovak Republic (1918) the frame of reference and overall image was the idea of the nation.
In the course of time that frame is lost as well as disappear ideas of nation, humanity, legal status, civil society and democratic and is repressed even the idea of religion. The collapse of civil society under the yoke of communism does show a similar process of collapse in the church as a form of determination immanent in the world, the church is married to the idea of the nation, the legal status of civil society or association.
The Second Vatican Council made it possible for the church to activate his transcendent foundation, namely its root Christological - Trinity, to the historical level downsize and overcome the cultural and social determinism. The Church, through its own "redefinition" took place at the Council was in a renewed and is able to relate to its mission to be done to the nation, culture, socio-economic reality and also religious.
Through its renewed self-consciousness (passing generation between J. Beran, S.
