Abstract

The model is capable to simulate the major thermomechanical phenomena in SMAs as superelasticity, martensite deformation by complex non-proportional loading paths, tension-compression asymmetry, one-way shape memory effect, superthermal effects, martensite stabilization by deformation or evolution of transformation hysteresis with temperature.
