Abstract
A deductive argumentation framework of Besnard an Hunter for dealing with clasically inconsistent sets is presented. It is demonstrated that the decision not to include other but canonical defeaters into argument trees affects the resulting values of accumulator functions.
As a conclusion, canonical arguments cannot be treated as sufficient representatives of all arguments.
