Abstract
The text was written with intention to be a manifesto and at the same time an attempt to sketch main outlines of the contemporary development and problems of history as an academic discipline. It focuses also on the forms of public representations of history and historians.
The authors are convinced that these phenomenons are tihgtly connected together, because both of them are the consequences of neoliberal politics of science.
