Changes in the surface structure of the glassy carbon microparticles paste electrode in methanolic solution

Abstract

Interaction with a solution of methanol at a concentration of less than 50% does not cause significant changes in the response of carbon paste electrodes. A lower concentration of methanol solution therefore is probably not sufficient to dissolve pasting liquid.

At higher concentrations there is a rapid stabilization of a steady state, the voltammetric measurements show stable electrode response after 30 seconds.
