History and Present of Phenology in the Czech republic

Abstract

The contribution deals with the phenological observation in the Czech Republic. It describes CHMI phenological network, the net is divided into three types of stations: field crops, fruit trees and wild plants.

Subsequent phenological phases of spring barley were executed as an result of processing (period from 1991 to 2010): emergence (BBCH 10), tillering (BBCH 21), stem elongation (BBCH 30), second node (BBCH 32), heading (BBCH 55), beginning of flowering (BBCH 61), end of flowering (BBCH 69), yellow ripeness (BBCH 85), full ripeness (BBCH 89). Brandýs nad Labem and Krásné Údolí stations were processed in the detailed form.
