The contribution deals with methodology of research interview on the field of language education of pupils and students. This type of interview is aimed especially at perception, thinking and expression of children.
The contribution concentrates at causes of problems naturelly connected with this research method. Philosophical thinking about both the tacid principle of dialogue, which comes through the life, and the sense of dialogue, shows sources of problems.
They are connected with the charakter of language as socialization phenomenon, with social, mental and space context of dialogue, with speciality of dialogue between an adult and a child and with its purpose. Conclusion of the text gives reasons for using of the qualitative interiew.
It is suitable for research of language education.
