Abstract
The paper summarises the results of an inquiry into the morphological variants in the semi-official texts of radio journalism and considers the further development of the Czech language situation, with a special regard to a possible transition from the traditional opposition between Literary and non-Literary Czech to Standard Czech as well as to a possible codification of some non-literary morphological elements.
