Abstract
Students in high schools often have problems with solving physics tasks. Difficulties that students have to deal with and methods or strategies they use in problem solving were investigated by means of a questionnaire survey with a qualitative character made at eight Czech high schools.
This contribution primarily presents methodology of the survey and motivation to its realization. Some information about follow-up of the research as well as interesting results are also mentioned.
