Abstract
This text puts stress on the importance of morphology and its active mastering by Czech language users for comprehension of Czech texts. It responds to current situation in morphology education at basic schools.
It shows sociolinguistic approach to morphology didactic content in the relationship with pupil's communicative competence development and it offers topic useful for modern research in the area of morphology education.
