The position of minorities and ethnic groups in Vienna from 1918 to 1934

Abstrakt

The paper introduces the development of the protection of minorities in interwar Vienna, and points out the differences in the legal system before and after 1918. Post highlights specific regulations concerning the Czech minority status and functioning of the Czech minority schools.

It also highlights the issue of Austrian citizenship after the collapse of the monarchy.
