Publication at Faculty of Social Sciences |
2012

Abstract

The article analyses the czechoslovak and polish history schoolbooks and the way, how the erection of the Berlin wall in 1961 was interpreted in them and in the school curriculas. As an result is shown the way, how the communists regimes were interpreting its relation to the West.

The eastern interpretation of all western steps showed them as agressiv and towards-war-heading efforts. In contrary all dealings of the Easternn block were shown as peaceful and stabilizing the international situation.
