Abstract

This paper focuses on the general evaluation of teaching principles from the perspective of nurses and midwives, which is closer to familiarize participants in a certified course "Mentor clinical practice of nursing and midwifery" in region. It is a didactic methods and principles that can be applied in the conduct of clinical nursing practice.

In exploratory questionnaire survey found that more than half of the participants (51.32%) considered selection of age appropriate teaching methods the student the most important factor. Another factor that is important according to the respondents, the use of such teaching methods in the classroom, which is the information carrier (26.32%).

Finally, consider the course participants as a significant effect of the adopted didactic methods for forming student (19.74%). Among the most commonly cited principles of effective listening most respondents stated their willingness to listen and understand (46.05%), maintaining eye contact between speaking and listening (34.21%) and suitable environment in which the conversation takes place (19.74%).

The results of evaluation of the course and its practical application, focusing on the teaching methods and principles are the basis for further improvement of the efficiency of the course and the development of further education in this area.
