Abstract
Last update of document GOLD was publisehd in 2011. This strategy brings many changes in classification and a few novelties into the treatment recomendations.
Unfortunately, this document can no longer be considered a national care instructions appropriate to the needs and possibilities of the Czech Republic. Also, the authors acknowledge the suitability of a specific national recommendations relevant parameters of each country and its health system.
