Abstract

The present study focuses on the problem of religion in the life and works of italian poet Luigi Pulci. The greatest emphasis is put on the author's dispute with the well-known theologian and philosopher Marsilio Ficino: there are several heretic statements in Morgante in response to his doctrines.

Even if is Morgante considered part of M. M.

Bakhtin world of laughter, Pulci's relation to religion remains one of the most ambiguous themes of his work.
