Francophone identity formation in the context of educational reform

Abstract

According to the progressive integration process in Europe today is developing an educational policy which reflects the significant social and cultural changes in the French speaking world. The Framework Educational Program, a key document for the successful realization of curriculum reform in Czech republic, offers to the language teaching space for solving current social issues of economics, culture and politics, which dramatically transforms the formation of francophone identity during studying of French as a foreign language.

This paper offers mainly the current view of the French speaking world in European and global context.
