Abstract
Diseases of cardiovascular system dominate to the global causes of mortality and morbidity in industrialized countries. Cell transplantation has been studied as an alternative method for treatment.
Embryonic stem cells are among the possible candidates as the sources of the cells. Aim of our study was to differentiate the embryonic stem cells into cardiomyocytes with contractile activity and then to characterize their culture regarding to their beating activity and immunocytochemistry.
