Abstract
The paper deals with extreme experiences of corporeality that cast the protagonists of both novels to the limits of the body as well as to those of language. Taking cue from several concepts of French poststructuralist philosophy (Jean-Luc Nancy, Julia Kristeva, and Jacques Derrida) as well as from the provocative thesis of the postcorporeal feminist Christine Vache-Méchante, the study argues that despite their different contexts and poetics, both texts represent a perfect example of "sexriture".
Rather than depicting sexual taboos and deviations, the act of sexriture embodies writing shaped by perverse desires setting off deformed speech and the erotic body as a screen of jouissance.
