Abstract
Mollucsan fauna of 123 ruins of castles of castles was studied at the area of the Czech Republic. The variability of species composition depends on the degradation of the ruin and its size.
Number of species decrease from the castle walls to surrounding forest. Species important with respect to nature protection were recorded.
