The Central European Humanism of Bohemia, Moravia, Hungary and Poland influenced each other and created mutual relationships. The characteric feature was the establishment of academies and literary societies (Sodalitas).
Here a very important role was played by the German humanist, Konrad Celtis. Important humanist centers in Hungary are associated with the work of Johannes Vitéz.
The international relationships of Czech humanists are mainly associated with Czech royal chancellery in Hungary. In Moravia the center of humanists was Olomouc where a major role was primarily played by the bishops of Olomouc.
In Poland Krakow, Dunajow and Poznan became important centres and also Zamosc in the later phase of the Renaisssance.
